The Foundation for Empathy Education and Development (or “FEER” for short) has been using the 2do2 Application since 2020. They deal with the implementation of projects with public and private funds on a daily basis.

Prior to using 2do2, the Foundation accounted for projects using Google Sheets and Excel.

Mr. Ziemowit Gil (ZG)- president of the foundation recalls that period as follows: In Google Sheets there was a very high risk that the formulas would “go awry.” In Excel, on the other hand, it only took one mistake for the whole document to fall apart. However, thanks to the fact that we are now using the 2do2 application, we have stopped using Google Sheets, and Excel is used by one person from the entire team at the moment.

The foundation’s president noted that using the app has translated into less stress and has made the entire team more comfortable.

ZG: Since we’ve been using the application, we’re definitely more at ease, because we don’t worry that one mistake could cost us hours of work. It is also very comfortable to have everything in one tool that we can access at all times.

At the City Hall, where FEER settles subsidies, they very much praise the sheets prepared in the Application. Officials admire them, saying that it is the most accurately prepared billing, which definitely stands out from other organizations.

According to FEER, 2to2 is also an intuitive and simple structure – directly tailored to the needs of NGO’s.

ZG: What immediately caught my eye was the fact that the application is equipped with features that respond directly to the needs of NGOs. Other tools we used were more aimed at businesses. They were large “combos,” and then we didn’t use all the capabilities of these tools. Their operations were complicated. The 2do2 Application has exactly the functions we need, and there are not too many of them – which makes it easier to learn and use.”

Mr. Ziemowit came across the 2do2 Application when, while browsing the NGO.pl website he came across the description of the application’s functionality which caught his attention. They started using the application in early 2020. It turned out that the use of 2do2 also helped the organization a lot due to the difficulties during the COVID-19 outbreak. It helped to switch to working remotely. The beginning of working with 2do2 for the Foundation was easy and smooth.

ZG: We had no concerns about using the application. We got a lot of support from the 2do2 team at the start. Getting into the new tools was certainly made easier by the fact that I have a background in computer science, but 2do2 is intuitive enough that learning it was also smooth for other people.

It should also be noted that the Application has also proven itself to be usable by a blind person. This is due to the adaptation of 2do2 to be operated by a screen reader.

Thanks to the simplification of the billing process, the foundation plans to increase the number of ongoing projects in the coming year.

According to FEER’s president, 2do2’s most useful functionalities are:

• The ability to assign a contractor to an account – which keeps contracts in order.
• Transparency and ease of use – as it reduces data entry time immeasurably (compared to previous methods used by the Foundation).
• Working on an Application placed “in the cloud” reduces paperwork and facilitates remote work.
• Automatic reports. Thanks to them, the Foundation saves many hours of work per year and month.
• History of the last change on a document. This streamlines teamwork and the process of clarifying mistakes – if they occur.
• The ability to create an account for the accountant. Thanks to the fact that the accountant has access, there are no more additional questions like “What stage are you at?”

In the eyes of FEER’s CEO, an important value in using the Application is the constant help-desk and support of the 2do2 team. In case of questions, doubts and problems, not only those related to the technical side of the Application, the 2do2 team is extremely open, responds quickly and helps solve the troubles.

In the words of the CEO: It is a simple application for difficult tasks.
